Step by step guide to your portrait:
- I broke my order form and haven't fixed it yet! I need all of your info,
your pet's name, color preferences, what size portrait you want, if
you want full body or head only
and when you need it by. Contact info is strictly for my
use, and only to be used in the fulillment of the commission.
- Email me pictures
- As many as you want to send me, but make sure to note your favorites
- the ones that you feel really show your pets character. Keep
in mind that lighting and pose are extremely important. Is there
a funny shadow in the picture? It will be there in the painting
too. Did your framing cut a paw or ear off? I can try "artistic
surgery" to reattach it, but it may not be true to your pet.
Does your black dog look like a smudge? You get my meaning. If

- Send me a 50% deposit via Paypal, check or cash. I
am going to invest my time and effort into creating a beautiful
piece of art for you, so I need to know that you are committed
as well!
- As soon as I recieve all of the information I need, I will sketch
out the basic design (Example) and email it to you for your approval.
It's a really good idea to add kim@doggie-doodle.com to your email
address list so that my emails don't get dumped into a junk folder.
Regardless, I will call you if I don't hear back in a day or two.
- I will email you a proof of the final painting for approval. If you approve, we move onto final
payment and shipping. If you do not approve, there are three options:
1) I can try to fix whatever problems you see. 2) I can start
from scratch. 3) I can refund your deposit and we can part ways.
Your satisfaction is always guaranteed!
- Final payment and shipping. I will send you an invoice for the
remaining 50% of the portrait fee as well as shipping fees and
sales tax (in Texas!).

** I do retain the copyright on all paintings, but will respect your wishes should you not want the image made available on printed materials!
*If you happen to be in the Austin, TX area and
want to save some delivery time/costs, pickup and/or delivery can
be arranged! I am also not opposed to bartering services, so please
